Dakota L. Griffin (born May 12, 1992),[1] better known by his
stage name Koda Kapo, is an American rapper, author, actor & artist
from Cleveland, Ohio. He is also a noted record
producer/engineer under the pseudonym “DJ L3ftcoast”. He is
signed to Cleveland/Los Angeles based label Jungle Vibes Records
and released his debut compilation mixtape "Serindipity Musik",
on November 5, 2013. His first solo mixtape (“Finding The Edge
Of The World”) [released October 31st 2013] has already gained a
massive underground following despite being released completely
independently. His second studio project the “Outer Limits EP”
was released on June 18, 2012, and the remastered/extended play
version is expected by Christmas 2016. Even with the lack of a
major record deal, he has managed to break the billboard 200
independent chart, get full page magazine articles & tour
extensively. He is currently studying Audio Engineering &
Production, along with business management at Lakeland Community
College in Kirtland, OH. Koda frequently collaborates with side
projects from his Experimental Jazz band “Serin.” to the new
Alternative-Hip-Hop super-group “Kuttin’ Klass” witch he is the
DJ for.
